Considering Platt College...

Hello everyone,

I have been looking into LPN programs in my area and it seems they all have pretty long wait lists. I would like to know if anyone has attended Platt College? I am considering the Tulsa location. I understand the price difference in Private schools, but would really like to know about the quality of education. Thank you so much for reading, have a blessed day!

I attended the LPN-to-RN (ASN) bridge program at their Oklahoma City campus about 4 years ago. Overall, I was not that satisfied with the quality of instruction.

It would be a smarter investment of your time and money to attend a public LPN program at a community college or vo/tech school with cheaper tuition. The LPN pay rates in the Tulsa metro area are some of the lowest in the United States, and it would be horrible if you had to repay $30k in student loans on a modest salary of $35k yearly or less.

I attended Platt's LPN program (graduated 2012) and went directly into working at an acute care hospital. I felt prepared and my other classmates did as well. I'm glad that I did it so that I could go ahead and start the program instead of waiting around waiting to get accepted, etc.

I currently attend Platt's LPN program. I love the small class size and (most, lol) my classmates! It's all about what you put into the program, as it would be with any school. I'm so glad I made the decision to go ahead and come to Platt instead of chancing my luck getting accepted at the community colleges and vo-techs any longer. Good luck!

I looked at Platt initially, but I chose Tulsa Tech. It was a lot cheaper. I got right in and just graduated in March. Good luck to you!

I almost attended a LPN program in Bartlesville. Total cost of the 12 month program was $4500 without a wait list (if you were to apply on time).
