I have a question for you critical care RN's out there, as I'm not. Also I'm in denial. About four nights ago I went to the ER with tachycardia of 180. I left the ER and it was at 110. They ruled out PE's as I've had a history of them. However, now I'm feeling twinges of substernal pain. My heart rate is about 90 right now, it usually at rest is about 70 but I just got off work.
Should I be concerened? The pain isn't bad just enough to notice it. I know I may get a few lectures here but what should I do. Could the CT be wrong with dx PE's? The last PE's I had were very very small, many of them but small.
