Most good agencies' pay rates start in the low $30s per hr. for RNs.
Make sure your housing will be private, furnished, plus housewares, TV, microwave, washer/dryer, and linens. All of this, and utils paid by the agency, as well. The lease and all utils in the agency's name. The agency should pay your travel expenses to and from the location.
If you need medical ins or a rental car, you will make less hourly. If you don't need these things, make sure your hourly pay reflects that.

I sent in my information to a few travel companies, namely: Cirrus, CrossCountry, and Sagent. I've never traveled before and am nervous. I've beeen reading this forum and other helpful travel nurse sites, to make sure that I ask the right questions etc. I told the agencies that I can start working in Feb.
Cross my fingers! Wish me luck!
