Okay, after working with my ASN degree for several years, I decided to go back and get my BSN. :wink2: Although, it was just a personal goal at the time. I am now looking into other options of what to do with my new found degree. I would like to get away from bed side nursing, (perhaps do it prn) thought about CRNA school, perhaps my masters, and I know there's mangament. Does any one have any ideas what a person like me can get into? Perhaps more schooling, what options are out there.....I'm lost....(btw np is not an option)
Please can anyone figure out what i want to be when i grow up
much thanks,

I sat on my degree for about two years and just kept my eyes open. I recently applied for a BSN required position in case management as the "bed placement coordinator". It's a desk job, no weekends and no holidays, M-F. There's a couple of techs, but there's only one RN to deal with docs, and hospital to hospital transfers, making sure the transfers and admissions are appropriate (and not other places dumping patients with expensive or unfunded treatments). I'll have my own office and desk, which is going to be real weird. I also start grad school in the fall to get my MSN in Nursing Education.
Best of luck in finding something that fits.
