OK it has been 4 months since comission

and no orders yet. the recruiter keeps giving me the runaound, we are on it stuff for the past 6 wks, I think he lost my packet. I also emailed the people edie told me to and they say they cant find anything on me. I did get an aafes catalog the other day and it was addressed to 2LT not 1LT. any suggestions on who else I can raise shell with?

That must be very frustrating. Have you gone to OBLC? If not are you scheduled. It seems my recruiter has me slated for OCT class I don't have any "orders" yet.

Overall I think the entire process is a pain in the ass. It has gotten to the point where I'm really ambivalent now. I am getting to the point where I don't care and when it happens it will happen. Just going to live my life now as I usually am. I work in a hospital now for the past 2 years or so. I am actually thinking of maybe taking a traveling assignment while I wait lol.

I couldn't agree more guys. Since I began this whole process i've been waiting and it hasn't stopped. I want to serve my country more than anything and am willing to wait, but it gets ridiculus. There is never one person you can talk to, everyone gives you the same line. I'm still waiting to hear if I got selected for the ANCP program. They have been updating the system to electronic, so they bunced April and May boards together and are releasing results at the same time. My recruiter says by Monday or Tuesday, we will definitely know. We'll see. Good luck to everyone and God Bless.

you can call hrc/ st. Louis and ask to speak to your career counselor. you'll have to give them your SSN and they'll update your address etc.

WOW, I guess I'm not the only one waiting for instructions from my recruiter. It's a good thing I have a job and wife and kids to take me mind of the waiting! I finallly got the recruiter to give me a date for MEPS and Chief Nurse interview.

you can have your recruiter, trace your paperwork to see where it is! (find out whether an RFO was generated yet). I waited 92 days for my orders..... and prior to that, I had contacted HRC in St. Louis twice... the first time they had no record of me, that was when I contacted my recruiter and he traced my info (I was worried because a lot of that info was my personal info).........the second time I emailed and I heard back from a CPT who was awesome, told me they had received my RFO and that the orders would be cut within 30 days (indeed they were... I got them a week and a half later)

I had almost the same exact experience. Commissioned 9DEC08, just received orders 6May09. It took forever! I called my unit and they have my orders, so I can drill in June.

However, does anyone know how long it takes to get the special pay? I have an LES for the first part. On it it says delivered in two installments. How long does it take to get the second installment?
