OK. I graduated. What now?

OK. I am excited to have finally graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing Education. Problem is, I don't see a lot of jobs out there.

I graduated on May 13. I have been sending out applications since before then, even got two interviews. Now I am waiting and no more calls.

Part of the problem was, before May 13, I could not even mention I had a Master's degree in Nursing. My professor said to submit the course completion certificate instead. I did that, but I still received a response from a school saying my application was rejected because the transcript did not show I had a master's degree.

My transcript still does not show my degree. In the meantime, colleges are completing their Summer and Fall hiring and I am getting worried.

I have applied all over town, but not being called yet.

Why don't you apply for an adjunct position to get your foot in the door? That's what I did. I'm working as a clinical instructor with just my BSN with LVN students.

That happened with me too. I did exactly what TEXASWAG suggested to get the job and once my transcript showed the MSN in education, I am no clinical instructor for ADN students. I graduated in December 2015 and had a job by February 2016. I did have to call my school I graduated from And ask them to hurry and list the MSN on my transcript because I needed for a job and they did

Thank you all.
