AndersRN, what you described in your above post about standardized patients usage to assess, diagnosis, etc.. Is exactly what my school did in our advanced health assessment course except no doctor was watching but professors were watching on monitors and they also recorded our performance. Each student received a CD copy of their performance so we could critique ourselves. It was very helpful

IcapNICU_RN, I just looked at the syllabus and it doesn't list subtitles under neuro to include mental health and they are only going by the syllabus which only states neuro

I took patho in 2013 so it's good. They looked at the syllabus and mentioned something about no mental health element???? Go figure

I already received a reply saying they wouldn't accept my advanced patho although I took it at UTMB which is apart of University of Texas
