HI!

I applied to the FNP-DNP at OHSU. Wondering if anyone has heard anything from them yet as I know the tentative interview dates listed on their websites are coming up soon! (not sure if the change in deadline from jan. 4 to 31st changed any of their projected timelines)

I have a video chat interview as well for the Ashland ABSN to FNP-DNP program on Feb 21! I'm wondering how that's going to be with group dynamic?

Oh, do you think the video chat is going to be in a group?

From what I gathered I thought i'd just be you on camera, and then a board of 3-4 directors and representatives from your program interviewing you?

I honestly don't know, that's just what I assumed since all the other interviews are group ones. They called me to set up the time, and the only information they provided in the email was for the video chat connection. They didn't mention whether it was group or individual. Where did you hear about the video interview format?

I heard about it from the woman I talked to on the phone, for the PNP program I believe it's Aimee Garcia, shes super helpful! But IDK if youd have the same person. But either way, i'd try calling to see if you can get more info or waiting for another email, I do know they are in a bit of a snow storm right now though, so theyre having a little more trouble contacting people.

Hi-

I just wanted to share! I just got my acceptance email for the AccBacc to PMHNP program. Still in shock! Woo hoo!

I applied for the FNP-DNP program at the Portland campus. I’ve been a RN for 8 years. I still have not heard anything about an interview nor have I received any letters in the mail. So I’m not sure what to think at this point. Anyone else is the same boat?

Hi everyone!

I applied to the ABSN to FNP DNP program in Portland and had my interview last Friday! Just trying to see if anyone else is on the same boat and if they’ve heard back from admissions yet. I am constantly checking my email and I’m just getting so anxious!

I had my interview last week too! They told me that they would send out decisions the last week of February, but I have been constantly checking my email as well, hoping to hear sooner. ;)

Also still waiting to hear back about the FNP DNP program.. How did you guys feel about your interviews? Mine felt so short, it was less than a half hour, I'm getting nervous thinking that I sped through the questions too quickly :-/

Mine also went really quick, probably about 20 minutes....so I don't know!

I also felt like I sped through the questions really quickly! It only took me about 15 minutes to get through all of the questions and then I spent the rest of the time asking them questions. Looking back, I wish I had taken the extra time to talk a little more about why I wanted to pursue nursing. Ah well, hindsight is 20/20.

Are you already an RN?
