Hello! I emailed OHSU about the alternate list for the ABSN to FNP DNP program and they said the accepted students had until the end of March to put in their deposit and that they would start calling people off the alternate list after that point. I still haven't heard anything yet so I'm getting anxious haha I know it's only 3 days into April but I'm constantly on edge just waiting!

Oh wow! Those are some pretty tough odds then!! Congrats on everyone who has gotten accepted!! ? Has anyone received acceptances to the ABSN to FNP Portland program?

I applied to the ABSN to FNP DNP program and got an email saying I was put on the alternate list! Does anyone know what the likelihood of getting a spot is?

I got mine in the mail today too. In the letter I think it says we have til April 1st to accept!

Gotcha! I found it interesting that the RNs applying for the FNP DNP program and the ABSN to FNP DNP applicants like myself were interviewed in the same bunch!

I also felt like I sped through the questions really quickly! It only took me about 15 minutes to get through all of the questions and then I spent the rest of the time asking them questions. Looking back, I wish I had taken the extra time to talk a little more about why I wanted to pursue nursing. Ah well, hindsight is 20/20. Are you already an RN?

I know the GRE isn't required, but is anyone planning on sending their score anyways?

Hey! It says on the Prezi about the application that the personal statement should also be 2 pages double spaced!

Is everyone planning on filling out the additional background information section? If so, what do they consider as community-based activities?

I just sent the official ones to make sure it was something they would accept! Took less than a week for them to get there!

Is anyone already close to sending in their apps?!

Are you all sending in your transcripts already? I don't know if I should wait til I'm a little closer to finishing the rest of my application. But I have 4 schools to send transcripts from so maybe I should get a head start so I can make sure they get to UCSF on time haha

Thanks for all these tips!! I too am just so nervous. I'm trying to get all my letters of rec sorted right now too. So many things to do!!
