Hi guys! Who else has applied to the Summer 2020 CRNA program at OHSU??

Has anyone else heard anything?

I have not heard anything either. However, if given an interview spot I will be denying it. I have already accepted a spot and my #1 school. I hope that this will open up my spot to one of you guys (if given an interview). Good luck everyone!

I submitted my application early so not sure if that has any reason for an earlier than later invite. I definitely appreciate the earlier notification in order to prepare.

TX-ICURN:

I've been a nurse for nearly 11 years with over 7 years of ER (adult and pediatric) and 3 years ICU (CVICU, Neuro/Trauma ICU, MSICU) experience. GPA 3.9.

I received an interview invite on Monday afternoon. However, I will be declining it due to accepting a seat in my first choice program. Hopefully that will open up a slot for someone else to interview!

I submitted my application about one week before the deadline. My undergraduate GPA wasn't great, around 3.4, but I'm taking a graduate level bio-physiology course now to help improve my GPA and show my ability as an "adult-learner". I have 3 years ER experience and 2.5 years ICU experience (specializing in peds, burns, trauma), both at level-one trauma/teaching hospitals. Additionally I've shadowed quite a few CRNAs.
