OHSU CRNA 2018

Wanted to get this topic started since I cannot find much recent information for this program on this site. Starting my application process for OHSU CRNA for 2018 start year. Wanted to know if there was anyone else out there applying for this program and if you had any advice or information to give on what they are looking for or their interview process?

I'm applying as well! OHSU is definitely my first choice, I'm from Boise and the closer the better. NursingCas makes me nervous, when exactly do they process everything and how long does it take? Best of luck to everyone!

Rosarosepond- I don't remember how nursingcas does their verification....but I didn't have any problems with them. Have you submitted your application yet? They may wait until you submit to go over everything.

I applied for the 2018 school year as well. Has anyone heard about what the interviews are like? What kind of questions they ask? Just thinking about the interview makes me nauseated!

Hey everyone. I applied to the 2018 cohort as well. The NursingCAS application service is pretty annoying and takes a while to figure out. Happy to be finished with it. Like other people said, the program is very competitive. It is best to have quite a few years of CC experience in addition to high GPA. Shadowing is always a good idea too because it shows them that you actually know what a CRNA does. Good luck to everyone in the process!

In the past interviews were done by a panel, with nearly all behavioral questions and one clinical scenario.

I applied for fall 2018 as well. It's my first time applying to crna program also. I actually had a positive experience applying through NursingCAS.

Nothing yet for me....last year the first mention of emails was on the 18th of January, the last mention was Jan 31st.

Nothing! But we have to be close. It's kinda soon if they expect us to book flights and accommodations for an interview
