OHSU ABSN 2020

Hi,

I can’t find a thread for this program so figured I would start one. I was wondering if anyone has got a confirmation their application was received?

Aside from the NursingCAS confirmation, I did not receive one from OHSU specifically.

I did not receive a confirmation email directly from OHSU, but nursingCAS sends an email when your application is "verified" and they calculate GPAs based on your transcripts.

I just started a thread as well today because I couldn't find one last night for this academic year. I got a confirmation from NursingCAS.

Are you applying anywhere else?

I was accepted to UW ABSN, UVA CNL, have an interview at Rush and am waiting to hear back from Hopkins, Duke, Penn, and MUSC.

I was accepted to Drexel and Jefferson. I'm currently in Philly but want to move to Portland, so I'm really hoping this will work out!!

Wow that's great! Do you have a top choice? I currently work at Penn but I decided not to apply because of the cost. If you have any questions about Philly or Penn just let me know!

@lpv07 OHSU is my top choice unless I receive significant scholarships elsewhere. I already live in Portland and work at OHSU so it just makes the most sense.

I applied to Linfield and was accepted to the Spring 2020 cohort, but it was so expensive and didn't feel right, so I turned them down and applied to OHSU. I applied for the ASBN program. I hope to get in to start in Summer term. I also live near Portland and have 5 kids, so moving is not an option for me. Congratulations to all for your admittance to other programs. How will you choose?

@tonniea Thanks! You as well. If I am accepted to OHSU I will enroll as it's the only school in Oregon I'm applying to. Summer is my preferred start, but I indicated that I would be fine with Fall and Winter since I can just keep working while I wait. If I'm not accepted, it'll depend on financial aid as well as program fit at the other schools.

I just received an application confirmation email from OHSU via email. "Applications are being processed at this time and we typically give applicants two weeks after the deadline to provide any missing materials that we request. Please follow up promptly if we email you (or have previously emailed you) about your application. If you do not hear from us it likely means your application is complete. Once applications are complete the admission committee will review all applicants."

They also say interview invites are sent out 2 weeks prior to interview dates.

Hey all, I applied as well but one of my transcripts still hasn't made it to NursingCAS ? I didn't get an email saying that I'm missing anything, but I know I'm missing that so hopefully I'm still considered?
