Hey guys, the application period for this nursing program has passed, so I am curious as to why no one has created a forum for this admission cycle yet. Hence, I decided to make one myself. Let's keep each other updated.

There was one 5 page paper in the second class. That was it, really

You do have to type out the care plans but its not like creative writing or anything like that, more like critical thinking

What part would you say that was the hardest? How are the professors?

The first professor is strict. 
The hardest parts were the exams/questions because theyre not what youre used to. Most questions on the exams aren’t straightforward and will sometimes require that you know/apply information to a made up situation. The questions are sometimes vague and confusing. So you could literally know all the info but if you don’t properly contextualize the question on the exam you will not get the right answer

I emailed the director to ask if people on the waitlist still attend orientation and she said they let people in off the waitlist up to 2 weeks before orientation. So that is why I was trying to find out when the orientation is.

I asked her the same not too long ago and she said they will keep taking people off the waitlist until around Aug. 20

I wonder if anyone has gotten contacted from the waitlist yet??

From what I read from the other years on this website #4 on the waitlist got contacted mid July
