Hi guys, I haven't seen anyone making a post for the 2020/2021 semester, so here it is!

I think you meant 45, 47, 49 are for Spring 2021 and 46,48,50 are for Fall 2020. Since the Fall cohort are even numbers. But yes I believe Spring waitlist had to wait til Winter break to officially know, and Fall 2020 waitlisted has til the end of this Summer to know.

By the way, did anyone on the waitlists receive any emails? I’m wondering when’s a good time to email the nursing department to ask about my status since I’m 4th on the fall cohort waitlist ?

Hi Mikhaela, if youre #69 you are actually number 12 on the Spring waitlist since it starts from 47 odds.

I also haven't received any emails from them.

Thanks Joanne! So does that mean if a student from Spring rejects their seat right now, will that go to the first one on the Spring waitlist? And not on the fall waitlist?

Hi Mikhaela,

Fall waitlist is for the fall cohort and Spring waitlist for Spring cohort. Your #12 on Spring waitlist so if 12 decline from Spring cohort your in! I know what you mean, Winter break is a long time to wait! Hang in there!

Thanks Ofelia, that makes sense now. I was really confused. I hope we get in! Can you let me/us know if they email/call you that you’re in? If you don’t mind of course.

I will definitely let you know if I hear anything. I emailed the director because I wanted to find out when and how we find out if a spot opens up for us. She said via personal email and anywhere between October-January for Spring waitlisted people. Hope that helps!

Oh WOW!, the wait is excruciating! Thanks for letting me know! Oh and did you ever receive any email stating that you’re on the waitlist whatsoever? I’m asking cos I don’t know if they got my email right.

I’m in the Fall 2020 waitlist and I didn’t receive an email either. I think they don’t email waitlist folks until they get the spot in for them. Are on the fall or Spring cohort?

Were both on the Spring waitlist. Your correct, no email here either. Only information I have is from the initial list they put up on their website. Your #4 for fall right? When do you find out when a spot opens up?

Definitely excruciating!! I have to try and keep myself busy before I make myself crazy haha. Did you apply anywhere else? I'm still awaiting to hear from Long beach and AVC as backup plans. Getting into nursing programs is no joke. I've been trying for couple years now.

Yes, I am 4th spot on the waitlist for Fall 2020, I hope I get in as I feel like that’s not too far away from top of the list. I’m thinking about emailing the nursing dept tomorrow to ask. Do you know who I should email specifically for this? I think you guys will get in soon too as many people decline sprint admission from what I heard.

Im hopeful we will get in. I heard #14 on fall waitlist got a spot last year and #27 for Spring. Your chances are great! You can email -----------, shes the nursing program director. She will give you whatever information she is able to disclose. Quick response too.
