Has anybody taken this class at Western Oklahoma State College? If so, how was it and do you really need the book? Thinking about taking it in the 4th 4 week session. Price is right and can get another elective out of the way.

I am so sorry I did not get in this class at WOSC as they are offering NO classes online for the summer due to restructuring. I could kick myself!
I kind of regret taking this class now, but I will try my best to not flunk it. No announcement, no study guide for that many quizzes. There is even a comprehensive final! First quiz covers 10 chapters! So don't feel sorry for yourself. I would NOT recommend this class.

First quiz 10 chapters? Are you kidding me? Someone else took it there with a different instructor and said it was easy peasy? WOW. That is brutal!

Are you in the outreach program cincinursemary? They don't offer it to us in the RN to BSN completion program. We would have to take the online one at the Zanesville campus that requires proctored exams.

Anyone taken the quiz yet?!
Yes, I keep forgetting about that difference.
Just did. Got 100%!
How is that class going and how bad is it?
still too early to tell. You just have to read the book and power point and try to understand the concepts on you own. No announcement from the instructor, no communications. 6 quizzes, 1 comprehensive, 1 two-page paper, 2 concerts to attend to write review. There might be some discussions, which is mentioned in syllabus, but we don't know the topic or when. I have to check the discussion forum every day. Overall it's not too bad, but you have to make effort to study to pass the quizzes.

Just read about the probation thing tonight. Has anyone asked OU if they will accept this now that WOSC is on probation. They say we can get our money back but I have a paper written, a concert write-up done and quiz one out of the way.
I just sent an email to my advisor. I guess I'll have to wait and see......
I read it too, but they are on probation for the 10 day classes and not the 4 week classes. They are still accredited. Should be no problem.
