I just saw on the ohio BON website that Chamberlain has conditional status as being approved for associate's and bachelor's degree in nursing!!!! Don't see any info on chamberlain's website yet about it though! They are expensive though. Now if they would only offer part time, and start ASAP! Has anyone heard of this at all???

That's great to hear, pnhopeful! I'm glad you're enjoying it! I'm looking forward to starting in July!

Just wanted to follow up and say that I am almost done with my first semester at Chamberlain. I love it so far! I have been very impressed with the class sizes, professors, and overall quality of the school. I will begin nursing classes next semester (beginning of November), so I'm looking forward to that. Anyone else here going to Chamberlain?

pnhopeful ... how is it going for you at Chamberlain?

I got in the online associates program this march! I am very excited and online learning is a good fit for me. The BSN program looks awesome too! Good luck..let me know if you have any questions..

did you finish?? how was the online AS program??

I was almost going to do EC AS program--- but then opted not to because I thought that I had to be a NY nurse then transfer back here to FL..... and now they don't take EC nurses in FL anymore.

The program has a lot of potential, but the Chamberlain online ADN program needs many improvements. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the program, but Chamberlain claims to be making changes. With that said, I do not have any regrets about going through this program since I do not like the classroom atmosphere at all!! I will be done end of Feb!!!!

Pnhopeful, I am starting the online ADN this summer. Just curious if you have been offered any jobs yet? Also, how was the clinical schedule? I live in the Cleveland area, so it is going to be a hike!

We did clinical 1 x week (8 hour day) for 6 weeks per class, except for med-surg which was 2x week for 16 weeks. Columbus is saturated with nurses at the moment, but I am hopeful that there are jobs out there.

Thank you! Are you still happy that you made the choice to go to Chamberlain? I do not want to wait for our local college's to get an opening, so it is either Chamberlain or Bryant and Stratton. I am just leaning towards Chamberlain, because of the online courses. Thank you for your input!
