Ohio licensure renewal

Hello guys,

I am a new grad and recently took my NCLEX in Ohio. I am aware of the renewal years being “odd” for RNs and “even” for LPNs, however, I was issued my license on 2-14-2020 and the expiration date is 10-31-2020. Do I have to renew this year even though this is my first year with an active license? Thank you in advance.

Sounds like a question for the board, but if you have an expiration date, then I wouldn't take that as a mistake.

Yes, you have to renew. However, I believe that the CE requirement is waived for initial renewal.
