Does anyone know of any hospitals in northeast ohio that will pay for nursing education if you promise to work for them for a certain amount of time? The only one I have found is Cleveland Clinic. Just wanted to know if there are anymore.

Look into UH, I know someone who worked there who got $5000.00 for every year she signed on with them (upto three years). Parma General also will pay for your education, they are in partnership with Tri-C and will pay your tuition if you work for them for 2 years post graduation. You mentioned the CCF, but that includes all the hospitals in the Cleveland Clinic network (i.e. Fairview, Lakewood, and Lutheran to name a few). Hope this helps.

St Rita's Medical Center in Lima will give you around $7,000-$9,000 if you agree to work for them for 2-3 years after graduating. Since the nursing school close to them was a cc, that would pay for most/all of it.

The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences (formerly Christ Hospital School of Nursing) in Cincinnati offers a tuition benefit program that pays for your complete tuition if you sign on to work for any of the Health Alliance hospitals for 2 years full-time. (There are 6 hospitals plus many primary care offices to choose from). I am a graduate myself.

Be careful with Parma! You cannot recieve any other type of assistance for your tuition. They transfer funds into your Tri-C account, and if any other funds are transfered into your account, Parma pulls thier money out. You are still required to keep your end of the deal with them.

Some of the smaller hosp. have loan repayment options, you sign on, they pay off your loans. It's a good deal unless you need to be in a big pond.
