Ohio BON and Excelsior

Does anyone know if the ohio bon accepts Excelsior grads?

I tried to find the answer on the website but could not find it.

Hi Mary, and welcome to allnurses. I moved your post up to be its own subject, rather than having it buried in an unrelated thread.

There is information on state requirements on EC's site: http://www.excelsior.edu/state-board-requirements

I know some Ohio people who have completed EC's program are are now licensed as RNs in Ohio, so yes, it is accepted there.

Thank you for such a quck reply, I want to go with excelsior but reading all the threads I'm already scared of the clinical.........but I'm going for it.

I am in ohio also *southern part of the state* I worked with couple people who completed this program...which is why I decided to give it a try...have only taken one test so far...scheduled for my second July 11th..Good luck 2 you
