Ohio Board of Nursing Application

U.S.A. Ohio

Published

Hi, I'm just looking for a little insight on my situation. I'm set to graduated from my ADN program in December and sent in my OBN exam application yesterday with the $75 dollar payment. On the application it asks for a program completion date. I called the nursing department for my program and was told to put the date of my final exam. Now, today after sending in my application someone else from the office tells me that I was supposed to put my graduation date instead as this is the date they use when sending in our program completion letter. Is this going to be a problem? On my application it will say 12/10/2013 as the completion date and the nursing program letter being sent to the OBN is going to say 12/19/2013. I've tried contacting the OBN by both phone and email and haven't had any success. I'm worried this will delay my application process or I'm going to have to redo it altogether. I mean, as long as the program is completed and my name and social security number all match, is the completion date really going to make a difference? Looking for some advice on what to do.

Thanks!

I would say you will be fine. We had a gal recently that I work with who put the month and year only because the day was unclear also. She had no problems.

Okay, thank you for replying! I was thinking the same thing. I know I'm not the only person to ever make this mistake, they probably see it a lot. I just have tried all week to contact the board and no luck.
