Happy that it is Friday, it's raining (which means no softball game tonight for my daughter, I need a break from sports!) and we don't have school on Monday!
But, the thing that is making me so happy today is the little second grader who FINALLY brought me in an order to receive his inhaler before gym/recess/exercise. This poor kiddo's asthma has been terrible this year and he has been coming in consistently after gym or recess with wheezing, shortness of breath, etc. Repeated phone calls, letter after letter sent home, letters to the prinicipal so she is aware, etc. And finally, I can have some peace of mind. Just stinks that it took this long. We have six weeks left of school!
Yes, I made it through the hell of nursing school and parenting five young children without drinking coffee or alcohol! I need something! I guess there is always chocolate!
