Last night it become official, I am no longer a nursing student, now I am a Graduate Nurse! I thought this day would never come..what a journey it has been!

Now to focus on being able to say "it's official, I'm no longer a graduate nurse, I'm an RN" :monkeydance: NCLEX here I come!

Specializes in LTC.

I just graduated the 30th. In Virginia we can work as an applicant for 90 days.

As a GN in NH you can work with your temporary license for 120 days. The temp license costs 20 additional dollars. I am not waiting that long to take the boards though, I will take them in a week and 1/2.

Yes this is true but I have only heard of one hospital in NH who will hire GNs. Most of us have jobs contingent on passing boards. I take mine in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!! Congrats to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SC graduate RN!! Just graduated May 8 and I am awaiting my ATT from SC boards...I hope they send it shortly...I had my review course with Sylvia Raysfeild and Loretta Manning it was great...Is the Saunders book the best to buy?
