ODU FNP Fall 2014

U.S.A. Virginia

I see there's no ODU threads here. The acceptance letters go out tomorrow for the ODU's FNP program. Anyone else apply?

Mine doesn't say that. This is so aggravating. You would think they would send everyone's status at the same time!

Yup I know!! that's what I thought they would do. I hope you ll hear soon from them!

kak12345 - does that mean you've been admitted?!? Sounds promising! My myDominion page still says "your application is complete" :( I can't click on anything...

Oh also - did you get an email saying your application status changed or anything? Or you just happened to look??

I have no idea! I hope it s not the opposite! I dont know what they look for when they make their decision. I graduated from an international program and only have one year of experience outside the US!! That s why i have mixed feelings!

And no I did not receive any email saying that the status has changed or anything!

I have no idea what they take into account either when making their decisions :( I just want to know already!! Ugh! I've been checking my email frantically but I guess there's no guarantee they'll let us know there... I plan on calling next week if we haven't heard by Friday.

I'm going to call today. I'm frustrated with this process. It's very gray and it doesn't seem like anyone know the answers. I emailed one of the program coordinators and she forwarded me to the head of the program. Still no answers yet.

I totally understand! :( Same here, I just wanna know because the wait has been horrible! Especially that we have been waiting forever..

If you end up calling, let us know what they say! It is quite frustrating :(

I tried calling the SON and they transferred me to the graduate department. I was sent to a voice mail of someone that I had tried to speak with before about the program that really didn't answer my questions.

Yeah, I think it's because they're getting lots of calls! Don't worry about it. Hopefully we'll know this week. Thank you anyway for letting us know! :)

You might try emailing Sue Parker who is the graduate program coordinator. She's been very responsive in replying to my emails when I had questions during the application process. Hope you guys hear something soon.
