OCNE Schools PCC/CCC/MHCC 2022

Hi everyone!

I did not make it into phase II for PCC but I have an invitation for CCC this Wednesday. Did anyone else interview for CCC yet?

H!! Hoping you get in this year! I have my interview coming up and heard that CCC's interviews are a bit different. Do you mind if I ask if its more critical thinking/scenario based questions?

Did you get into any of your programs? I got on the alternate list at MHCC and waiting for the official decision letter from CCC. Keeping my fingers crossed I get in!

I got on the waitlist for CGCC but CCC is my first choice! Also my second time interviewing with them. I had 48 points going into the interview but it’s disheartening to know they’re only taking 18 students in their corhort this year :(

Hey Rachel, I know, I was a little heartbroken when they said they were only taking 18 students. 48 points is a lot of points! I had slightly lower points than you but I think I did really well on the interview. I kept going over my answers afterwards and I don't think I would have changed my answers if I could. So I think I gave it my all and I'm hoping for the best outcome! I hope they send out the decision letters tomorrow! ??? Did you feel like you interviewed well?

That’s great!! Nice job!! Last year I had 44 so I tried to bring my points up a little bit. I don’t think the points really matter though I’ve heard of people getting in with lower points! I did my best! I could’ve done better but I’m not dreading on it. Did they say tomorrow we’d hear back? My colleague told me Monday? Either way, fingers crossed for us!!

Yes, fingers crossed for both of us! I hope we get in! The interviewers said they were hoping the letters would go out on the 27th but likely the following week. Monday is a holiday so I think if would probably be Tuesday or later in the week.

I really like that we got to do interviews so they could see our personalities and our experience and how we handle different situations. Best of luck!

Do you know how far you are down the alternate list? You could still get in! I am also on the alternate list for MHCC. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get in.
