Hi, I haven't posted here in a while...been busy trying to finish my last requirement (Micro) for graduation for EC. I am considering going for my BSN in the fall, since I took A&P through EC without lab I am looking into taking OCC's online course with lab. Does anyone know the admission process? Cost of the course, especially for out-of-state students? Any information is much appreciated.

On their website, http://www.ocean.edu, they tell you that you have to write a letter with your request for your first registration. It is on the first page of the section for online courses.
Got an email saying I will get a package in the mail. I really want to go on for my BSN, competition here for RN hospital positions are fierce.

Admission process is pretty straight forward. Just print out the application, fill it out, and mail it to them. Once they receive it, they will call you to register you for the class or classes you listed on the application form.
Cost for out of state = $600 and approx. another $600 for the lab supplies that you need to buy for the class. I'm not sure if the tuition cost varies depending on what state you live in. I'm from Northern California.
From my personal experience, the admissions, financial aid, and cashier depts have been very friendly and helpful in answering questions/concerns I had. I was expecting horrible service which is the standard BS you deal with here in NorCal but was pleasantly surprised at their helpful/friendly attitude.
Oh also, you won't qualify for financial aid unless you're enrolled at least half time (6 units). I didn't realize that and pinned all my hopes on getting financial aid to reimburse me the tuition I paid for up front.
Hope that helps. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask.
