I will be starting Spring of 2016. The reason I chose this program over OCCC was the LPN career ladder. I have my LPN license and can jump right in, they do this at OCCC, but getting in is a lot harder. Rose state is competitive, but not as competitive as OCCC. They have a direct BSN articulation set up through UCO. Rose state has more beginning track spots as they have larger class sizes. And it isn't a lot, but Rose state is a couple thousand $'s cheaper over the course of 2 years. Those were my deciding factors as I had all the classes required to choose either one. Hope that helps! and Good Luck!
August 1st through Sept 1st for the spring semester. It did also say that if you are transferring credits from an out of state college, there is a 2-4 week waiting period to verify etc.
in regards to the Compass test, I found it pretty easy, but I am a good test taker. It just depends on how good you are with the subjects being tested over. I have added the website for information regarding the nursing program at Rose State college.
