OCCC Spring 2012 Hopefulls!!

Hi Ladies! I passed my TEAS test. Yay! But I did not get the points for my math placement. I was stunned at how hard it was at the end and I am pretty bummed about it. I still applied although I am doubtful that I will get accepted with only 15 points. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive word if we are accepted or not?

Hey everyone! This is my 2nd attempt... I was 1 point shy for the Fall, but had that 17th point once the spring semester was over. It all worked out for the best, though, so... God willing... I will get in for spring. I HATE the wait, though... I just get too anxious! :) I applied with 17 points, and I believe about 3.25 GPA. Hopefully that will get me in. I've been informed that the cutoff for preference points is 16 for the spring semester because fewer people apply than they do for the fall. Crossing my fingers for all of us! Good luck!

Hi Buhbles, this is my second time around too and I was very dissapointed because I've missed it with just point as well but this semester I have and hopefully this time its gonna happen! Good luck, I think we have at least 2 to 4 weeks to at least till we receive our first letter, grrrrr :uhoh3:

I got my verification letter today also!!!!! Yay!!!! Im starting to get nervous, they came so fast.

I got mine too! Last semester the acceptance/denial letters arrived about a week after the verification letters. I wonder if that will be the case this time! Maybe it's faster since fewer people apply for the Spring? We can only hope!

Hi everyone! I just received my verification letter today... Now I am starting to get nervous! I did not think it was gonna happen this fast. I have 18 points and a 3.17 gpa. Good luck to everyone! I hope the next letter comes soon as well! :uhoh3:

I got my verification letter on Saturday, can't believe how quick it came! Unfortunately there were two verification letters of two different students attached to my letter. I called OCCC today and after getting bounced around to a few people I finally left a voicemail with an admissions guy and told him what had happened, I never heard back from him though. I feel sorry for the two applicants whose letters I received, I'm sure they are wondering what is going on.

Mac31- I think that is what I am going to do, I tried to call again today but just received a voicemail. Hopefully OCCC will be a little more careful next time!
