OCCC Nursing Program for Spring 2013

Just turned in my application...now for the waiting:confused: I only had 17pts, was wondering what everyone else had?

I really hope it is soooon! Did you apply anywhere else? The good thing about the spring is the cutoff is lower... I really really hope I have a chance!

I have a feeling it will be at least next week before we know! I hope sooner....And I think that with 17 points, you should be safe! Have any of you ladies heard anything new, or contacted anyone concerning the time frame lately?:)

I called today and he said he didn't want to say a specific date just in case it took longer, but it should be within a week. I certainly hope its only a week more! The wait is killing me.

Yes that's the good thing:) I only applied for OCCC but if I don't get in this time I'm planning on applying to OU & OCCC next semester. I was lacking my statistics class this semester. What about you?

I heard from Deborah Meyers in a Health Professions meeting that there were 160-something applications for Spring 2013, and that the points cut off was 16. That means that ALL the 17's got in. I don't know what the GPA cut-off for 16's was.

I applied to rose state too... But I really only did for back up. Occc is where I want to go!

I called today, and I was told to actually look for a letter in the mail rather than email.:( I sure hope either way it gets here soon!

It was a Health Professions Club Meeting the one Professor ***** heads, she was just answering questions and someone asked about the specifics for this spring 13 nursing group and those were the numbers she threw out. I'm not sure about when we'll find out, but I heard we were getting letters instead of emails too! I don't know what to believe!

Okay I got some news! I just talked to him and he said they would most likely be sent out tommorow no later than early next week. And they are doing both email and mail in case something goes wrong because it is the first time they have done email! I can't wait!
