  1. I'm at Starbucks in Norman at 24th and Robinson, across from Super Target until 1:30pm if anyone wants to study! Leslie I will text you! I know it's late notice so I apologize! Terra-- The moodle instructions are in the papers that we got at orientation, were you there? Message me if you weren't and I can tell you more.
  2. Leslye and anyone else who wants to study dosage calculations, i'm going to be at Barnes and Noble in Norman from 10am-2pm studying. Tomorrow Friday the 4th! Happy New Year!
  3. We will definitely need to study dosage calc's after NYE. So it's a date! Thanks for the advice and I would love a mentor.
  4. Leslye I think that is a must. I will text you (or you text me) after New Years and we will hit the dosage calc's hard. Merry Christmas!
  5. Yes my mineonline shows that I am registered for NPI so there really may be 8 spots. But they may be people who have 'enrollment issues' as well. Just keep calling and checking with them to see what number alternate they are on. Good luck!
  6. This is late but I am alternate 3 and I got in yesterday at orientation! Yipeeeeeee! A great day, lots of info but so excited! And it was wonderful to meet Leslye finally! Here we go! Good luck to all the other alternates! Don't give up hope! I haven't tried moodle or angel or ati yet. I don't think Moodle will be ready until January.
  7. THE BEST NEWS I HAVE HEARD IN MONTHS! CONGRATS LESLYE!!! YEAH YEAH! SEE YOU MONDAY!!!!! ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!!! Thank you for posting! Thank you! eeeekkkk! Treat yourself to something nice!
  8. That's what I'm worried about too. But the good news is you're next! It's a long way until January 22nd and anyways, I think they may hold spots for current students who maybe won't make it to NPII but if they do end up making it and moving on, then those spots will go to us. Don't loose hope! I had a dream last night that you posted you got the call! I was so happy because it meant I was next lol!! That's how much i've been thinking about this! I need to relax but it's hard. You are next and that's very good news for both of us. :)
  9. Yes look for me fore sure. I'll look for you as well. The application guy told me that by now usually he has called at LEAST alternate number 3. But we haven't heard a peep. But everyone has to have their stuff (shots, background, insurance) in by November 30th, so maybe after that date we will see some drops. Also he told me that he has seen people literally quit after going to orientation, like leaving in the middle of it. He said we might find out while we are there! I hope so. I was hoping to hear by thanksgiving but it may be December. I'm going to go ahead and enroll in Microbiology and statistics. But I can drop once the call comes. I agree, I need to figure out a childcare schedule for next semester and it's hard when you aren't sure what that schedule will be. I'm so glad I at least know who #2 is. Once you get the call you have to post it! Then I will really be on pins and needles! lol!
  10. I called too and was told to go and bring a binder, tabs, and highlighter. I just wish something would happen already. What if this is the first time everyone who got in attends and doesn't drop? Yikes! I'm trying not to be pessimistic but it's hard. Anyways, I will be at orientation as well.
  11. "Just call me, don't be afraid to just call me, call me an I'll be around!" "Who ya gonna call? Ghost busters!" "867-5309, 867-5309! Jenny Jenny who can I turn to?" "Hey I just met you, and this is crazy! But here's my number, so call me maybe!" EVERY SONG that has to do with a phone call is going through my head these days! Just thought I would share! LOL! CALL ME MR. APPLICATION GUY!!!
  12. I just want to know by Thanksgiving! I can't relax...concentrate. I'm in limbo. Shots are getting done, CPR cert is getting done. Oh when will we get a CALL?! lol.... Leslye - make sure you post when you get the call, then maybe I'll be next! Hopefully!
  13. Oh yeah Andrea! Yes lets do that! Shelly and I study together once a week. Usually the night before the lab/lecture exam. Make sure to get our cells next tuesday in class. Thanks for the encouragement, it's nice! lol.
  14. I spoke with***** today (I may not have spelled her name right) she was very encouraging about my chances of getting in, which will include alt #1 and #2! She made me feel very optimistic. Also to the girl who is alt #15, did you hear about this new program 1 and 1? If you were a high ranking alternate OCCC is working in collaboration with Moore Normans LPN program, if you enter the LPN program at Moore Norman, then the next Spring Traditional Pathway applications you are guaranteed to get in! I think thats a great deal if you are wanting to get started on something! I feel so much better about my chances as alt #3. Keeping my fingers crossed and preparing for the best!
  15. Leslye I feel the #1 and 2 alternates have a really good chance. 3 might be a bit much, but it sucks because we will go through the motions (immunizations, cpr) and we will be in limbo for who knows how long! I'm going to call and make sure they have my cell phone and my husbands cell phone. Just in case. It's nice to know there is someone out there who feels the way I do! I didn't put my application in anywhere else because my heart is just at OCCC, I love the professors and the students. You keep your head up and I'll do the same.
