OCCC BADNAP Spring 2019

I know this is really early, but I finally finished all my prerequisites and October can't come fast enough. Anyone else applying for Spring 2019? Now that the application is on NursingCAS I think doing it ahead of time is the most sensible to ensure timely processing. I will probably start the process in August. I am so nervous already and I have a whole summer and fall to make it through before finding out if by this time next year I could be halfway done with nursing school.

I have October 26th marked on my calendar since they said it will take 6 weeks. That's two weeks away from this Friday. Anyone else anxious?

Yes! I was told 6-8 weeks. Hoping 6 rather than 8!

That's so weird. I called on Monday and they said we should receive an email notifying us of acceptance "in about a week." I called them again today and they told me its gonna be in 6-8 weeks from the application deadline, so between October 26th and November 9th. This is so frustrating because everyone I talk to is telling me something different!

The 6 week mark for the traditional was the 19th and the emails go out this week. So I'm guessing for BADNAP we might not know until next week, which will be early November 2nd. They might surprise us and send emails on Friday 26th but I won't hold my breath.

So traditional got their emails yesterday and when I called, the lady in the admissions department told me that BADNAP should get their emails mid next week! I'm super excited and nervous!

I got an email saying I am ineligible because I don't have A&P 2. I took physiology and anatomy as separate courses at OU and both of the nursing advisors at OCCC told me that I shouldn't worry and that everything will be fine. No one mentioned that I may have issues with me taking courses individually. I am so upset because I have been waiting so long for this. I had to send my syllabus to the health professions department for evaluation so that they can see if the course will be equivalent.

That does seem odd because even though I was wait listed I have met all the requirements and I as well took anatomy at another college and I am currently am taking physiology.
