Now that Obama has won and it is likely that unionization will no longer be secret ballot, how long do you think it will be before St. Frantic, I mean, St. Francis in Memphis is unionized?
Just wondering how much people think this will actually change things.

never happen. don't buy the hype.
Bicster,
"Card Check" may not be on the very top of Obama's To Do list, because it won't be easy to pass.
But never say never... this is one of the union's top issues and they will pressure him to push legislation through before 2012.
And once card check is the law of the land, don't you think that nurses will be much more likely to respond to the type of one-on-one persuasion that card check will bring?
I am in agreement with you. I strongly dislike Obama, and for no other reason than I have no idea what he stands for. But in the end, like you said, it will be very hard to pass. I am just not worried about it.

In a proUnion totally controlled Democrat House and Senate?
Surely you jest...
I think the only reason it will take time to be addressed is the deluge of more important matters.
