Does anyone know of a good site to learn the FHR such as how to know a late deceleration and so forth? I have a test on Monday and my teach just sent an email for us to know it, but she never went over it in class. The text book only has 2 pictures of FHR and uterine contractions...normal.
Thanks

Here are a few of the web sites from my favorites. I hope this helps. Also on this web site under the specialty tab there is a section for obgyn nursing. I don't know if you would find any information there that would be helpful. Good luck.

well, this is the resource i found, but the pictures of tracings didn't transfer. if you go to this site, you'll see them, too. i googled monitor uterine contractions and fht. the bibliography is helpful, if there's a medical library near you.
this is quite complete (when you go to the site and see the "table"s). use a ruler vertically at completion of uc, and decel will show lates, if they're there. don't panic, if a fp can interpret it, so can you.
good luck.
