Oath taking in US: Single name or married name??? Pls help!!!

Published

Hi guys... I'm in dilemma right now  I hope somebody can help me on this. I just passed my board exam last July 3 & 4, 2010 and didn't take an oath because I went in US before the oath taking and registration was held... I got married last Sept. 24, 2010 (which is the reason why I came here :p) and eventually I started using my married name... I'm planning to take an oath in Philippine Embassy in Chicago by next month... My problem is which name should I use for taking an oath and special power of attorney, SINGLE NAME OR MARRIED NAME? If ever the consul adviced to file it on my married name what will be the consequences? Does my representative needs further documents for this to prove my marriage? Do PRC honor marriage certificate abroad? Please help... Thank you in advance...
