I am waiting for my ACLS class and as soon the test is done and I have a card on hand, I will be finished with all my stuff. Actually,I sent them a packet and they told me I forgot to include ACLS...

Do you want to move to MI from where you are? What made you decide on this particular college?

Where is OU going to do their clinicals? The program didn't exist when I was still living there.

I want the most bang for the buck. I have heard good things about the school in oakland, and after speaking to the program director, i felt the fit would be a good one. With that said, I really didn't ask her to evaluate my competitiveness, just if there were any bias to out of state applicants. What first got my attention was the price of the school. I have been to law school and got in quite a bit of debt there, and do not see the point in digging myself further.

I understand most of the clinicals are right there in beaumont hospital.

Oh yeah, my wife has family there. I suppose that's a big consideration...

zoozoo,

Why are you applying to Oakland? I forgot to ask.

First, with my GPA I did not have to take a GRE, and second, I work in Michigan right now and would not mind to move up north (hate Toledo!). I have a family in OH and I suppose I still be close enough...I am also applying to Case Western, and in September I am taking a MAT test. They are not strict on GRE and give you a choice of either MAT or GRE.

I also want to mention that next year I am planning to apply to 3 more schools:in NY, NJ and MN.

Zoo Zoo,

Being from toledo you could take classes for their program and do your clinicals at toledo hospital. They have a few students a year who do that. The clinical home base is beaumont, but you rotate out to various other hospitals.

They told me that they don't do clinicals in toledo, but that was a year ago. Can you tell me more what you know about the program?
