  1. I am still waiting for an invitation, hoping they would give enough time for me to fly (i live in ohio...)
  2. Got a letter too, didn't get in this year again...
  3. I called OU on Wed. because I still haven't heard anything and I am going on vacation Sunday...Nobody was there to talk to, so I left a message. Anybody got any news yet?
  4. Where in Ohio do you live? Just curious... I heard about long waiting list for some of the programs, but I do admire you for your decision! It's never too late. I give an example of my mother who came to the USA at the age of 59. Previously she was a doctor in Russia, never spoke English in her life. After 2 years of being here she got into medical assisstant program, finished it with 3.96 GPA and worked for ten years in a local hospital. Now she is retired, and basically she is the only supportive member of my family who constantly said "GO FOR IT!". I understand how hard it will be for you to go back to school, plus the income you most likely to loose while in school...But it will all pay at the end. Most people I know that applied to CRNA schools are non-traditional students:they are over 30 and have families. I make myown sacrifies too...If you want-PM me and we will talk. GOOD LUCK to you.:pumpiron:
  5. Oh, My God! I cannot imagine to wait THAT long!:angryfire
  6. CONGRATS!!!:balloons: I am still waiting...
  7. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!:balloons: Still waiting...
  8. Laughing gas, which school did you go to? I noticed , you live in OH...
  9. I am at work right now but I am so-o-o-o scared to go home and open my mail box and see THE Letter! And I am even more nervous to see a message flashing on my answering machine...You think that you have been waiting for this day for a long time and now I am not even sure if I am ready for ANY news! Plus somebody who I shared my worries with, told me that "each year Oakland University accepts too many students and then gets rid of almost half..."!
  10. Congratulations! I applied also to UMDNJ, they told me that the interview will be sometime in February...I guess they doing it twice a year, ha;) ?
  11. ME TOO! I have a caller ID on my phone but I was picking up ALL the calls today even though I was pretty much sure that they were from telemarketings... God! Now I am afraid to leave my house because I am thinking OU probably won't leave a message!:penguin:
  12. College I applied to (Oakland Univ. in MI) called me first to schedule a day and then they confirmed it with a letter.
  13. Anybody from Toledo got acceptance letters?
  14. I was told by the graduate nurse recruter that the interview will in February-March, and the program I applied to is in Newark. Is it a brand new program, like a couple years old?
  15. I applied to UMDNJ this year, and I was under impression that the interview suppose to be in February...And I never knew that they interview twice a year, correct me if I am wrong.
