NZ nurse looking for work in the UK

I'm a fairly new nurse- got about two years experience in elderly health and wanting to move to the UK. Does anyone know whats the best way to apply for a job from nz without moving there first (if possible), and if there is any way you can get a UK registration from NZ? and if it's actually worth moving?

Check out Nursing and Midwifery council (NMC) for NZ RNs requirements. I did phone interview with one of the hospitals and got the job.
