NYU transfer/traditional 2014

So I started a new job today at this retail store- the sister of one of the managers just moved back from NYC and we got to talk about it all night! It was so exciting!! I am so ready.

How exciting! I'm still waiting to hear back. I thought for sure I'd have something this morning. I have decided to proceed with my LIU application just in case. On the other thread a girl posted her rejection letter and it mentioned a Paul McGhee division of NYU. From what I gather it isn't as competitive so that might be a viable back-up plan to my back-up plan. Have you heard anything?

I had herd they offer another school- i dont think they have nursing though. I thought I'd hear something this morning as well- we only have so many t/th left before the 29th. My applicaion has been in for almost three months! I did have another dream I got in :) that waa fun. Im looking forward to finding out!!!! Sheesh.

I read that girl's rejection letter... Made me sad. Lol. I dont want one!! Her stats seemed really good too. :/ i wonder how different the standards are for xfer and ABSN students.

They don't have nursing but (if I don't get in) I can get a BS in health management or something and apply as an ABSN that way it won't be much time lost at all. Yea her letter made me sad and nervous. I just want to be in already but as it gets closer to the end I am trying to be realistic and have another plan. Just hope I don't need it lol!

Thought about doing the ABSN stuff, but I'm just ready to get into a program. If I don't get into NYU I only have one more semester of pre-req's and then I'll apply to every program that will take me! NYU would be ideal though :) I really do believe that no news is good news- maybe they go alphabetically, or by application date? I don't think there really is any method to their madness, lol...

I understand. Nyu is definitely my too choice. I just feel more comfortable now that I have secondary options. I just don't want to waste anymore time.

WOW! This was one. long. weekend...anxious for Tuesday. It does seem pretty surreal that I haven't heard a peep from them yet. I thought I was going to die when I realized I wouldn't hear April 1st, but beginning in May! My application has been in for almost THREE months. Holy cow!!

Wow! CONGRATS!!!! I'm so excited for you. I haven't heard anything yet but fingers super crossed!!! Have you heard about your housing or transfer credits or anything yet?

I literally was in shock yesterday! The email started out "on behalf..." I was so freaked out that I got rejected, but then I kept reading. :)

I haven't heard anything about transfer credits yet. I'm torn between getting a dorm and trying to find an apt. Dorm would be financially ideal for now- well ideal in a whole lot of ways. I don't know the city, or anyone, plus I'm sure its safer for my first semester there. An apt would be cool, but I'd want to find a roommate, you know. I think I'm going to apply for housing today.

I want to accept their offer, but I have no idea my financial package, or transfer credit. I really feel a peace about it though and KNOW the Lord has led me here, so maybe I should just take that step of faith!
