Has anyone been accepted to the NYU 15 month accelerated program? If so, let me know! I received the package yesterday!
hey gogatsby- I got mine too and actually think I will be going there as a result. Will you be headed to Rush in Chicago? Are you looking for a full Financial Aid package? The offer from NYU should cover everything except for 3,000 each semester. I guess I am happy with that.. Not sure what to expect, but I only got ~50% for each semester from Marymount.
hey hannah8- I entered my Fafsa around the 15th of April and just received my package on Saturday. Do you live in the NYC area or do you have to move? My fiance and I are moving from San Diego in August- it will be a big change! I was deciding between Marymount and NYU and just made up my mind yesterday!! Good luck with financial aid!
Wow not a bad turn around time then. I'm wondering when we'll get the registration info etc.
I've lived in Queens with my parents for over 10 years now, and I went to a high school and college at and around Chelsea. I wouldn't claim to be an expert on the NYU area, but I have a favorite Japanese restaurant at St. Mark's.
I hope you won't find the move to be too hectic.

Congratulations on your decision, I know you had a hard time deciding!
NYU will be a great place to be, and even though both NYC and NYU are expensive it is worth it, I think.
I applied to the regular BSN as a transfer, but havn't heard anything yet, mid may they say.
Welcome to the city!

Ushalfred- ABSN programs are all over - I got into one here in Oklahoma. If you have a degree, than you are almost there. You just need to check prereq.'s and make sure that you have everything. I didn't, so I spent 1 year taking sciences. Depending on where you go, there maybe a grade forgiveness. I am not sure about other programs - but my program is 15 months, we start June 4th and will graduate in July 08.
Also - here in OK, they only start the ABSN once a year - so you will definitely want to find out by inquiring at the schools.
Best of luck to you!
