Hi guys, I’m making this post for transfer applicants for the NYU Nursing program this fall 2021. I would appreciate if y’all can share your stats to get a sense of what NYU wants. Please if anyone transferred from another school to NYU nursing, please include your stats too. I go to Hunter College right now (freshman) and I need to transfer immediately. And this is for the traditional BSN program not Accelerated BSN. Thank you!!

I wouldn’t worry I don’t have much either besides working as an CNA for a couple of months.

tbh don't stress about extracurriculars at all LOL. They look for passion & nyu does a holistic view. also then asking for a midterm update is a good sign!

Thank you! And sure! I am a freshman at hunter right now with a 4.0 GPA. I chose to do test optional. I haven’t really done anything for extra curriculars because of covid. My hs GPA was a 4.0 and I had an English award, arista, archon, ap seminar and research certificate, ap scholar award. I don’t really have any medical experience, but I recently got a medical related job and I uploaded my resume too. As far as my letter of rec, I think my teacher really took the time to describe me as a hardworking student during covid. My why NYU essay and why transfer were pretty good to me. I think NYU really looks at your application as a whole and not just your GPA. My friend with similar stats also got in

thank you! I have a GPA around 3.8 (I think) and tbh I don't have much extracurriculars but I have worked with children for many years and that was what made me realize I wanted to pursue nursing!
