NYU ABSN Spring 2019

I was recently admitted into the NYU Second Bachelor's in Nursing Program, but since I have not finished all the pre-requisites thus applied as a non-accelerated student, I won't start the curriculum until Spring 2019, so I've decided to start a thread for that cohort.

Sad. I didn't get in...but best of luck to all of you!! Congrats to those who got in!

Sorry to hear! Did either of you apply to Mt. Sinai or other schools in NYC?

@ellelle I applied to Rochester and had an interview. They said I wouldn't hear back till March which is kinda late considering I'd be coming from the West. I got into a couple other schools so at least I know I'll be attending somewhere this summer!

Congrats to everyone who got accepted! I paid my deposit yesterday. For those of you that have also accepted, who do I call to get this advisor hold I have on my account removed? Also It says that I'm not enrolled in any courses for the Spring semester.. do we have to enroll in classes or is the first semester automatically done for you?

Congratulations! So wonderful to hear.

I would talk to Mr. LaVenia; I will PM you his e-mail if you'll accept me as a "friend" via AN. He can handle your inquiry re: the hold.

You will be automatically enrolled; I would say give it some time since you just paid your deposit. We have no control over our schedules and they are made for us, including placements.
