Hi to all! :)
Just wondering if anyone has recently had an interview with a nurse recruiter/manager
at New York Presbyterian Hospital in NYC...? How long does it take for the manager/recruiter
to call you back to let you know if you got the job? Did anyone know right after
the interview with the nurse manager that they got the job? I know that every hospital
is different & I have no idea how things work at NYP. Thank you all for any feedback you can
give!!!!

Hey Linda,
Im also curious. I had my second interview two weeks ago and i haven't gotten a call yet. I actually emailed the recruiter and told me that the director needs to meet with few more candidates and he will be contacting me. But no calls yet, so im still waiting. Good luck to you!
Thank you for your quick response Jasel425!
Perhaps, we both still have a chance! :)
Hope it ends well for you!!!!
Your reply has given me some hope so thank you!
I have always wanted to work at Presbyterian hospital,
do you know when their orientation begins?
Also, I heard that they have a very difficult pharmacology test ...
that scares me!
Thanks again,
Linda
Im sorry i don't know when orientation begins. When i had my interview, the recruiter told me about an orientation in October and one in November.
As for the pharm test, i really don't have any information about that. I think NYP lets you know as soon as they hire you. I've just been researching here about the exam. I suggest while waiting for them, review pharm!
I hope it ends well for you as well !!! =D NYP is such a great hospital. I fell in love with it too when i saw it. Hehe
Oh yea, try to email your recruiter to ask the status for the position you interviewed for. It will help!

I recently heard that they no longer suggest a "packet" to help you study for the pharm test. Is this true? If so, can you recommend how to study for it?
