Nybon Nursing School Under Investigation

I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?

The think the best bet is to go to another school

@Darp7288 really? In Ny , I find it hard to believe since Ny doesn't do that only when u committed something to do medically and its very rare

I would ask the board how long it would take with them,  but I know in some states like Washington state you can't get your license or sit for NCLEX anymore the if you attended that school because they say that the school is not approved by BON of Florida.  I went to Carleen in 2020 and never graduated, so those who did get their transcript and did NCLEX were lucky, not all student will get their transcript because the school is a joke, no exams or exit exams are done in that school. It reached a point the owner of the school Santon started selling transcripts to those students who came with money and did want to take classes, I had to get my money back and went to a different school. I do agree with you, student needs to stay away from that school, it's a joke and they all care about the money.

Yes, Palm beach school of Nursing is banned too, I saw from my BON that students who graduated there before 2016 can't get the license of taking NCLEX here anymore and so as Carleen.

Santon is the owner, the school has a different location that's what he does when reported they change location before they had an office in Alabama and Florida west palm beach, and who knows if they still have those offices, but am sure they moved because the office of Alabama was under investigation after one officer pretended to be a student and was trying to buy transcript since student reported them.

My coworker worked in two seperate places in the last 5 months and two people got their license taken away they never went to school and got a license fraudulenty. I think how they got caught was something wasn't adding up when the employer did there check so yes they took it away not sure where they so called went to school.

I went to that school and I can tell you this is what they do, sell transcripts. 

Students that graduated before or after 2016 @Myra Myra I can’t find anything about these schools anywhere. Where are you all finding the information. I only saw the news about palm beach school of nursing
