Nybon Nursing School Under Investigation

I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?

no you won't have to take NCLEX again  if you go to another school you just can't have any credits from a school under review  transfered over to another school.

Starr2022 , do u know anyone that went through this or have u had to go through it?

I am in the same boat but I got my Fl license in August because of this forum. I listened to Star2022( thank you so much for putting us on) and asked for my NYC NCLEX scores and had it transferred to Florida.  They gave me my license in three weeks. It really was a blessing. Now, I am trying to endorse it to BON in Ct.  They are requesting my NCLEX scores that NYC BON has that was the last requirement for them.  As soon as, I tried to get it from NYC BON they stopped me because of the school review hold.   I am praying that we all get through.

I called ny BON yesterday they said it’s still under investigation and to call back once every 60 days ?

Thanks! It's this forum that helped me.  It is good for all of us to keep putting up new information. My husband and family were possibly going to move to Florida. 

I pray it gets removed too.

Im in this same mess. NJ is something else. I have a FL compact but employers still want a single state. SMH
