NWFSC spring 2020

Anyone out there that has applied for spring 2020 at NWFSC? Trying to patiently wait for results over here.

I applied ? waiting also. In the next week or 2 we should get an email verifying the points we will receive from our applications. I applied last semester too! I'm really over waiting haha

Hi! Good to know we should hear soon. I haven’t received any emails from them at all. Have you? I’m getting impatient too! Haha

No i didnt! I emailed them a few days ago because I didnt get any email confirming they recieved my email like last semester. I was worried maybe my application was overlooked lol She wrote back saying they didnt send any emails this time but we should hear from them in a week or 2 to verify our points. So not too much longer! If it's like last time I applied then there is more waiting after we verify our points. Hope we both get good news!

Oh okay! I was worried about the same thing when I didn’t receive anything saying they received my app haha! Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!!

Thank you! Btw what route are you applying for? Straight to RN? I applied for the LVN to RN. So nervous this is my last chance to apply for awhile!

Yes straight to RN. It’s my first time applying. I did pretty well on the hesi so I’m cautiously optimistic. You probably have a little bit of a leg up since you knew what to expect because you have applied before and taken the hesi! ?

That's great you did well. I didn't do amazing this time but i did better than last application cycle.(103) I think I might have 110 points if i didnt miss any on the post confirmation test. It's hard to tell. You never know what everyone else scored as well as how many applied. I wasnt able to study this time very much at all because it was basically back to back after finding out I didnt make it in for the fall and I'm taking classes now to get the rest out of the way or make the program hopefully easier. However, i did recognize familiar questions since I took it before and perhaps that's what helped a little bit. I wish i did better in A/P. Ill let you know when I hear something!

I also applied but my overall points were not as high as I would've liked. I started the process very last minute and didn't study or review at all. I've heard you have to score nearly perfect on the HESI. I think my overall was 80 points, even scoring upper 80s and one low 90 on the hesi. It's tough. Miracles happen though.

True you never know! I applied twice and i think after applying the second time I did better. I think the anatomy and physiology was hard because there's such a vast range of information and only 30 questions. The first time I scored 81 plus the rest of my points. I wish you good luck and if not this time try again! I used the elsevier study guide they suggested in the packet to refresh on some things but the a/p i bought a study guide online. I did get an email two days ago saying i made it in this time.

I was accepted too! Emerald nurse- if you end up having to reapply, you should buy the hesi a2 pocket prep app on your phone. I used this to study and it’s amazing.

Congrats! I also was told from applicants last term pocket prep was very helpful!

Hey everyone! I just recently found this forum. I received an email Wednesday stating that I didnt get a seat for this class but am #1 on the alternate list. So I’m just hoping I get a call within the next week or two! ??Congratulations to you all who made it. I’m wondering what my chances are if getting in.
