NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Visa received : ???

Date of entry in the US :???

GC receive : ????

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

Hi everyone!

I called up NVC at around 1am and I found out that I'll also be having my interview next month:-) My schedule is on July 13 at 8:30am. I had mixed emotions when i heard the operator said the date of my schedule. I felt excited and nervous at the same time.

Hope everything in the medical and interview will turn out fine. Congrats again and God bless to all of us! Thanks to all of you too..

and here's my st. luke's experience...

day 1

may 29 >> we left la union around 10 pm..we used my aunt's van

may 30 >> we arrived at st. luke's around 3 am..my hubby lined up immediately (no numbers yet but its a first come first served basis) ...at least they would know whos next in line..

5.30 am >>guards ask us to lined up, they will give you pda (patient data sheet and ur numbers)we were numbers 2, 3, 4, 5. ready ur passports and ur appointment letter (copy ur appointment letter one for each applicant)but they still look for ur orig appointment letter...they will asked you to fill -up the forms...

6.00 am>>ground floor reception area..ur numbers will be called for digital pictures and then an initial screening...ready ur 2x2 pictures (label ur pictures athe back..and be sure its on a white background)

5th floor >>payment..peso only..the $95 is converted to the prevailing us embassy rate..

x-ray and laboratory (3rd floor/4th floor)>>be ready with ur old xrays they will ask for it..

if u have kids, ask a relative or if u have yayas to come along..i asked my aunt to come and she stayed with the kids at the 5th floor for their vitals, eye test etc while me and my hubby are doing our xrays and labs..

blood extraction, got a big hematoma after extraction :lol2:..ladies will be ask for a urine sample (dont sched ur medicals when u have ur menses)..

5th floor (physical exam/vitals)>>u will be asked to disrobe (again if u have menses ull come back for your pe)

since my kids are undergoing treatment for primary, the doctor requested for an xray (pa and lateral) that's an additional fee of 371pesos...

my hubby (also undergoing treatment) was subjected to 3-day sputum exam and an additional xray (lateral)

after immunization history (2nd floor)(ready with ur kids baby book), we were asked to come back for 2nd day (immunization and releasing)..

my eldest, was put on hold because the picture lamination on his passport was damaged...and was asked to get a certification from dfa.. but then the dfa (in la union) ask us to renew my son's passport..

please be sure that all of your passports are still in good condition to avoid this problem..

no foods allowed inside, only water...

u can bring toys, psp, game boys, cellphones inside..

if you have doubts about your health condition, consult a doctor, have an xray and if its positive start ur treatment...

to be continued.....

thanks for sharing this. please keep us posted on your day2 experience.

so it's ok to bring a yaya inside st lukes? they are not strict only to those with medical appointments? aside from water, are feeding bottles allowed?

Hi Daning! Im pretty confident that you will be included in the July list. A lot of my friends whose case were completed last April and May have their consular interview scheduled this July. They called NVC themselves too, and talked to the operator because our agency doesnt know yet our exact interview dates. So, I'd say goodluck to you now and see you in Jacksonville!;)

This batch is unusually fast. My interview sched is just 9+ weeks after case completion. I was initially looking at atleast 12 months. Oh well...

Yes, hope to see you jen in jacksonville. we're targeting october or november. how about you?

hi guys!

My case was completed last April 19, 2006 and I don't have an interview schedule yet.. but I am still keeping my fingers crossed! congratulations daning!

here's day 2

after day 1 ull be given an appointment slip to come back on day 2 at specified time..ours was may 31 @ 9.30 am...

go directly to the guard and show ur appointment slip, he'll look into a master list and then he'll ask u to go to the second floor for immunization..expect a long wait...(my eldest son was not in the master list, the guard ask me to the drop his appointment letter at counter a-releasing area and wait for his name to be called...as i told u in day 1, his passport was not accepted at the reception area..so that's the cause of his delay)

2nd floor>>drop ur receipt located at the glass window..and wait for your name to be called..my youngest son got 3 shots and i got 2 shots...lots of crying babies here...after this, ull be asked to go to ground floor --releasing area...

ground floor>>expect a lonnnggg wait..as in long! (at this time your papers are not grouped together..so u'll be called one by one)

prepare your 2pcs 2x2 pic..they will release a copy of your vaccination report and ur xray plate..and your done!..

we got immunized around 11am and results was released around 4 pm!!!:angryfire

me and my youngest son only..

my hubby have to return for sputum exam (june 7,8,9)

my eldest son also returned the same day as his father (got his passport june 5-expedite processing cost php750)..

june 7>>6am:: i showed my eldest son's new passport to the reception ground floor and was asked again to drop his receipt at counter a and wait for name to be called..his name was called around 10 am immunization area..he was given 2 shots....and was done at releasing aorund 3 pm...

june 9>>my hubby::after 3 days he was given an appointment slip to return on june 13 and 14 for pulmo evaluation and releasing..(sputum exam is from 6.30 to 8.30 am only, if you failed to show up ull pay the exam the next time)

feeding bottles for infants are allowed..yes u can bring yayas so that someone can look after your kids while you and your spouse are having some test (kids are exempted from xray and laboratory exam -- unless the doctor says so..just like my kids..because i told during pe that they are undergoing treatment for primary)

while waiting...make friends and exchange ideas..hehehe that's what i did..and even the kids found new friends too...

will post evaluation of my hubby next time...

i am due for interview on june 21...i hope everthing will be fine...
