NVC-CP-GC? sme as USCIS?

Hi All

I have noticed many people refer to the NVC-CP-GC when discussing US visas, can anyone tell me is that the same site as my USCIS profile page, or is it something different? if so how do I find this site & register? can anyone advise me I would be most grateful.:icon_roll

NVC refers to National Visa Center.

CP is consular processing.

GC is green card.

Can you tell me is there a way of tracking my application now it has been sent to the NVC, my USCIS site has not been updated since I was informed I had approval back in April. I have received written communication from them but would like to know what is happening as I go along, if thats possible?
