Nursing at University at Buffalo

Hi,

I am an incoming freshman going to University at Buffalo. My major is currently biomedical science. I chose that major because i wanted to become a doctor, but i've changed my mind and decided to pursue a career as a registered nurse. I also read a lot about schools in NYC such as LIU and hunter and pace that have nursing programs. I do want to stay at home in NYC while getting a BSN and then taking the test to become a RN. Do you guys have any advice for me? Should i transfer to one of those schools and leave UB? shoud i stay in UB and get BSN and then take the test? I am very indecisive, and I wanted to know what you guys thought about my plans.
