Nursing Supplies

Hi, Everyone,

I am current getting my nursing supplies that I will be using this fall. The supply list has several items including KELLY CLAMPS. What are they and were can I get them from. I am currently ordering all of my other supplies from allheart.com. I did a search for this item but didn't get any results. I called the nursing department at my school but their was no one available to assist me. The secretary said she thought they were scissors but,.....scissors are on my list too. HELP!

Just curious...to those who don't use hemostats, how do you remove sutures or do you not work in an area where you have to do that? What do you do when the IV tubing is screwed on too tight?

To those who do use them, what are some other uses you've found for them, both in nursing or other? I just used mine yesterday when trying to fix a clasp on a watch that was too tiny for me to squeeze with my fingers or plyers. The hemostats worked perfectly!
