Is there anyone here who started their nursing school in the Philippines but didn't finish it since you have to move to the US? Were the subjects you took in the Ph credited? What did you do?

No foreign nursing courses will transfer to a US nursing school. You might be able to have general education courses credited, once the school reviews the transcripts you provide. You'd need to have the acceptable pre-requisite courses completed prior to being admitted to a nursing program, and you would be starting fresh in nursing coursework.

It's v. difficult to transfer between different nursing programs within the US; it's hard to imagine one would be able to transfer in credits from a non-US school. But I suggest you talk to schools in the area where you will be living about whether any credits would be accepted.
How about the nursing pre-reqs?
Depends on the school and what your program curriculum was. If upon review they feel the content you completed was equivalent to what they provide it would be accepted. If they feel the content is not up to par or doesn't include components of education that they expect a student to have upon completion of that course, they won't.
You will only know the specific answers you need after you have talked to an admissions counselor at the college you are interested in attending. Be prepared to have to provide sufficient documentation to prove your courses' merits; if there is any doubt you will be taking those courses again. And in the case of many deficient educational programs outside the US, for the first time.
