Ooops...meant to say study, not student in the title! lol....Anyway...
How many hours do you study per night? On weekdays (which is when classes are held), I study 3-4 hours, and on occasion 6-7 hours if I am bombarded with tests the next day...But really it is usually 3-4 hours. On weekends, I do 6-7 hours usually each day. I do not work, but I do have twin toddlers. Luckily my mom and hubby help me out whenever needed!
Anyone care to share? Just wondering what's normal. Sometimes I think I over-due it.
Thanks!!
Now back to studying I go....lol

One person's overdue is another person's underdue. I freaked out about careplan packets and maps. That was my thing. I love to read and I had a base of science already so I didn't have to study as much. Sounds to me like some of the overstudying is fear based. I had fear in the beginning but I passed. Do whatever works. You will make it.

It is not about the hours ...study smart. I just graduated last August from lvn school. I used to sit for 6-7 hours a day to study and I felt like I didn't study enough. After a while, I learned from my classmates who were doing great that it is better to study 2 hour...take a break and then another 2 hours.
Just google online, "how to study smart". You will find many better way to study.

I study about 4-5 hours a night, but I break it up. I study for an 1 1/2 then break for 30 mins then continue. It has been working for me so far. I am 2 weeks into my LPN program and passed 2 tests with this method. Also flashcards are my lifeline :bowingpur.
You go girl!! hang in there!!
how do you use your flashcards. i was thinking of doing it but it seems like i take the test before i get the cards done. what is your system? if you don't mind.
My teacher is pretty good in pointing out key points in our text books that we will be tested on. I take those key points such as definitions, theories and etc. and put them on flashcards.Cause sometimes I am places where I cant take out all my BIG BOOKS to study. I will study any and everywhere I can, even while I am waiting in the Dr. office or while I am at work, at the hair dressers, or doing house work I can just flip them out real quick and test my self to see what I know. They are also really helpful when my 9 year old daughter helps me study. She holds the cards and ask me the questions.
